Hello, my name is Opeyemi and I'm a Corper in Kaduna, Kaduna south to be precise and I'm a teacher in a village secondary school named GSS Idon.
One of my female students was r*ped by soldiers in a barrack and this is the story:
On the 22nd of February 2016, a 17 year old female student of GSS idon (Kajuru,Kaduna south) name withheld was abducted by 2 male soldiers and brutally r*ped by 4 male soldiers.
According to police reports Patience went to idon town (the village she resides) to collect her note from her friend, on her way back two male soldiers on a bike were cat calling her. She ignored them and according to her they blew a white powdery substance on her face rendering her unconscious .
She awoke in an empty room in a barrack (Army Central Ammunition Depot Barrack, Kachia) and for 3 days she was brutally raped by 4 military men and they gave her razor cuts on her face, arms and legs. While raping her they continuously whispered in her ears that her friends were next.
On the third day after series of screaming by Patience a different male soldier who was passing by heard her and rescued her. He took her to the hospital for treatment where she was admitted on drip for two days.
The Commandant of the barrack and policemen in the community has taken the case up, however even the girl's friends claim she knows one of the guys who r*ped her, the girl denies it and refuses to snitch saying she doesn't know any of the soldiers.
Other sources disclose that she went to visit a soldier in the barrack and he and his friends had their way with her. Basically the four soldiers who r*ped her are still unknown and the females in the village are scared.

"Last Saturday night, he robbed a woman selling food on Abiba Street and raped her. When One Mopol was caught this morning (Saturday), the woman came to the scene and discovered that he was the one who actually attacked her."
A mechanic, Tolu Ibrahim, said One Mopol's death was a relief to residents, adding that hardly a week went by that he would not rob someone in the community.

PHOTO:: Thief Mistakenly Locks Himself Inside Victim's Car at Ebute Metta, Lagos
Detectives attached to the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad (FSRAS), Ikeja, Lagos State Police Command, have arrested a burglar, who mistakenly locked himself inside a victim's car, according to the New Telegraph.
The suspect, Jamiu Anisoro, used to burgle cars with an iron rod, sharpened and shaped into a key. He burgled a car on premises of Mainland Hotel, Oyingbo, Oto Railway Ebute-Metta and got trapped inside the car, leading to his arrest.
When the car owner came out, he saw Anisoro inside his car and alerted the police. Although the key had opened many car boots and doors, it, however, had a clause. Once it has opened a door, the door would become faulty. The master or normal key wouldn't be able to operate the door again.
A police source said:"Anisoro specialises in opening vehicles with a master key. He got a rod and sharpened it into the shape of a key. His modus operandi is to watch motorists coming to Oyingbo Market. After the person parks, he would find out where the person is going.
He monitors where the person is heading. He would go back to where the victim's car is parked.
"But before heading to the targeted car, he would carry two bags, filled with used papers. He would use the master key to open the car door, pretending to be the owner or driver. He would pick phones, money and other valuables.
"He would drop the bags filled with old newspaper into the car and leaves. People watching him would think he came to drop some items he bought inside his car; they wouldn't know he is a burglar."
Anisoro confessed to the police that he targeted victims in the morning and evening. He usually steals phones, wallets and other valuables inside parked vehicles. According to him, he used to sell some of such stolen items at Computer Village, Ikeja.
"There was a time he saw nylon inside a car at Ido, Oyingbo. The nylon was under the seat of a car he burgled. He found N150,000. He used the money to rent a house. He used the balance to buy tools for cobbling. He wanted to start cobbling which was his professional job,"the police source added.
Anisoro, however, soon ran out of money. He decided to go for the last operation. The last operation was the one that landed him in police net. On the fateful day of his arrest, he had tailed a car owner who drove into Mainland Hotel, Oyingbo. Immediately the man stepped out of his car, Anisoro followed him closely. Anyone watching would think he was the man's driver or came with the man. As the man walked into the hotel, Anisoro went him into the hotel reception.

Whatsapp To Discontinue Update on Blackberry and Nokia Phones
Earlier this week Whatsapp celebrated its 7th year anniversary with its 1 Billion Active users, instead to break a bad news on such a good day, the team decided to wait till on Friday when they announced that the app will soon be discontinued on BlackBerry and Nokia devices running those company's operating systems.
Yes! that include the Blackberry 10 device. Though the new Android-powered Blackberry Priv slider phone might probaly survive this heat because it was built with Android OS.
According to the annoucement made by Whatsapp:
As we look ahead to our next seven years, we want to focus our efforts on the mobile platforms the vast majority of people use. So, by the end of 2016, we will be ending support for WhatsApp Messenger on the following mobile platforms:
1.BlackBerry, including BlackBerry 10
2. Nokia S40
3. Nokia Symbian S60
4.Android 2.1 and Android 2.2
5. Windows Phone 7.1
While these mobile devices have been an important part of our story, they don't offer the kind of capabilities we need to expand our app's features in the future.
The Nokia S40 discontinuation will deeply affect developing countries like Nigeria because most people still use old Nokia phone. The likes of Nokia asha 200 and 203, Nokia 6100, 6200, Nokia c2 and c3 just to mention a few.
I know most of us still love our old nokia phones. WhatsApp suggests"upgrading to a newer Android, iPhone, or Windows Phone"if you want to keep on using the service — if not, you'll need to find another messaging service by the end of the year before the service get discontinued.

Former maid Reveals: How I Served Rev. King For 7 Years Without Bra And Pants
Miss Susan Chizoba, a former maid of the general overseer of the Christ Praying Assembly (CPA), Rev. Emeka King, has revealed how she served the pastor as a maid for seven years, stark naked.
Explaining how her parents took her to Reverend King's home in 2000 believing it to be a Christian home, Miss Chizoba said: "When I came to live with the accused (Rev. King), he told me that I would be his permanent maid and that I would agree not to marry.
He said anytime I wanted to serve him I must be stark naked which I did. No pant, no bra, I would be completely Nood before him and I did this not once, not twice, but for several years. He also ordered me not to tell any member of my family where I was living
He gave me a ring which I always put on to indicate that I am his permanent maid and all this he made me to put into writing. I am a member of the Lord's army andwe bully people, putting fear into them and molesting them. "Rev. King is a very violent person, he would beat us mercilessly and as a result we always have wounds on our bodies.
He called himself god, the owner of the universe and could do anything. We know this is not so but out of fear we could not challenge him. On the 22nd July 2006 the day of the fire incident, a sister named Kelechi came to call me from the boys quarter of the Rev. King's house where we were staying that the accused wanted to see me.
"When I got to him he did not even allow me to kneel down as we usually did when talking to him before he started beating me with stick, rod and anything he could find. I started crying, shouting and begging him not to kill me. It was then I noticed others who were there; Cosy, Chiejile, Jessica, Ann, Vivian and Kelechi. He accused me that I lied to him that Chiejile did not sleep with me whereas Chiejile had confessed to him that he slept with me. But Chiejile never did he only said that so that the accused (Rev. King) will not kill him.
"He said he would kill all of us. He then asked Kelechi to go and bring fuel and matches but when she brought it he told her that the petrol was not enough and that she should go and bring more which was brought in a very large plastic container. He then marched us out of the room saying he did not want to burn his rug and chair.
While we were outside his room but within the church compound Kelechi poured petrol on us on his orders and he struck the first match which did not catch fire. "When he struck the second match we were all engulfed in fire but I did not know how I managed to escape from there and I ran back to our apartment. When I noticed that Ann had been taken to the hospital, I ran out in my night gown and I never came back to the church.
I came out of the place by the grace of God, I am free now, I am no longer under the spell of the accused person," Miss Chizoba said. Miss Chizoba said this in 2006 while testifying against the controversially violent pastor before an Ikeja high court.
At the time Rev. King was on trial for the murder of one of his members, Miss Ann Uzor and attempting to murder five others by pouring petrol on them and setting them ablaze. Rev. Emeka Ezeugo King had his death sentence upheld by the Supreme Court on Friday, February 26, 2016.
Explaining how her parents took her to Reverend King's home in 2000 believing it to be a Christian home, Miss Chizoba said: "When I came to live with the accused (Rev. King), he told me that I would be his permanent maid and that I would agree not to marry.
