The feud, Hayaandaworld.com gathered, started after a motorcyclist was beaten, Tuesday evening, for riding against traffic on the dual carriageway that leads into the community.
The motorcyclist, reportedly an Hausa man, then reported to his friends who returned with him to fight back.
It took the intervention of a group of policemen to stop the crisis that followed around midnight, Tueday.
But the fight continued at about 9:30pm, Wednesday evening.
Both groups, brandishing machetes and throwing bottles, took over the road preventing both motorists and pedestrians from gaining access to the community.
At least two persons sustained injuries to their heads in the altercation on Wednesday.
The arrival of several police vehicles did not stop the warring parties from burning tyres on the road as midnight approached.
But more police vehicles are headed to the community, Thursday morning, after the "area boys' prevented all motorcyclists from working.
The motorcyclists, who transport people from within the community to the bus-stop in Mile 12, have more Hausa men in their population.
As at the time of compiling this report, the Divisional Police Officer, DPO, Ketu Division, was trying to broker peace between the two parties.
Some residents have expressed their fears that the fight may degenerate further.
"This is how it usually starts," a resident to Hayaandaworld.
Many have died during similar fights between the Hausa and Yoruba communities in Mile 12 in times past.
Right now at around 12:30pm this Thursday , The Fight has turn to war.
